There are two main types of decals used in ceramic decoration: underglaze and overglaze. Underglaze decals are applied before glazing and are more durable, as they are protected by the glaze. Overglaze decals are applied on top of the glaze and fired at lower temperatures, offering more color options but less durability. For logos and intricate designs, overglaze is often preferred.
Custom decals can be full-color or single-color. The MOQ for custom decals is 500 pieces per style, which is reasonable for small to medium-sized orders. We can produce decals based on your artwork, and our team can assist with design optimization for ceramic surfaces.
Private label goes beyond just a logo—it includes your brand name, packaging, and sometimes even unique product shapes. You can choose from our existing 1,948 styles and add your branding, or we can develop a completely new design. The process involves creating a prototype, which takes 7-10 days for samples, and then mass production.
Once you approve the sample, we proceed with production. The lead time is 25-35 days, depending on the complexity and quantity. During production, we use high-quality glazes that are lead- and cadmium-free, and our products pass FDA, LFGB, and SGS standards. We can also provide test reports for your compliance.
Custom packaging is available to enhance your brand presentation. We can design boxes, inserts, and labels. Shipping can be arranged via sea or air freight, with FOB or DDP terms. For international orders, we ensure proper export documentation, including the correct HS codes (6911 for porcelain, 6912 for other ceramics).
Provide high-resolution artwork (vector files preferred) for decals. Communicate clearly about color expectations, as ceramic colors can vary slightly from digital proofs. Order samples to check the final look and feel. And plan ahead for production and shipping times to meet your launch dates.
